The agribusiness sector in Egypt has strong growth potential with benefits for the sector's workers and the national economy provided that improved food safety measures are implemented. The objective of this Technical Assistance assignment is to improve the National Agribusiness Quality System through:

• Strengthening the National Quality Model (NQM) as a system for the agribusiness sector
• Improving pesticide residue monitoring.
