UNE-EN ISO 22716
What is it?
The UNE-EN ISO 22716 standard provides guidelines for the manufacture, control, storage, and distribution of cosmetic products in accordance with the foundations of European Regulation 1223/2009, entitled "Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Cosmetic Products".
This regulation focuses on the quality of the manufacture, storage, conservation, and the shipment of products, with the aim of eliminating and preventing errors in the quality process, to ensure that its use is safe for consumers. The objective of these GMP guidelines is to define the activities that allow obtaining a product that meets the defined characteristics.
