Gas appliances
By inspections on gas appliances we refer to the verification per unit of the equipment.
These devices need to undergo a revision when Directive 90/396/EEC is not applicable and they have not been submitted to the EC type-examination and to the subsequent verification of production conformity, gathered in the ITC-ICG.
In this field the inspector acts:
- Checking the existence and validity of the unit verification request.
- Examining the design documentation.
- Inspecting the appliance, checking that it has been manufactured in accordance with the design documentation and with the requirements contemplated in the regulations that apply to it.
- Carrying out the tests and trials according to the applicable rules and procedures. In case of need, accredited laboratories will be subcontracted for the corresponding tests.
Once all the processes defined for the inspection of the equipment have been carried out, a certificate that approves the operation and safety of the equipment is issued.
Applicable regulation
- Regulated by the Technical regulation of distribution and use of gaseous fuels according to Royal Decree 919/2006.
- ITC-ICG 08
