Q ICTE
What is it?
The Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española, ICTE), which comprises the most important tourism associations in Spain, has developed a quality system for Spanish tourism companies (Sistema de Calidad Turístico Español, SCTE). This system aims to offer a tool that qualitatively improves tourism businesses, such as hotels, restaurants, golf courses, etc.
When meeting the requirements established by the SCTE, the Q for Tourist Quality is awarded – an element that allows customers to be aware of the company’s commitment to quality.
The ICTE has a series of specific rules for each sector, so that any tourist establishment that wants to demonstrate its costumers its commitment to continuous improvement and quality can have a certification that supports and proves it.
Legal framework
- OCA Global is accredited by ICTE to act as a system certifier under the requirements of the standards themselves.
