Metrology

The purpose of legal metrology is the establishment of a Legal System of Measurement Units, as well as the establishment of the principles and general rules to which the organization and legal regime of metrological activity in Spain must conform.

At present, we have incorporated the Metrological Control within its activities, specifically to act in the field of the Authorized Metrological Verification Bodies (OAVM) defined in the Royal Decree of July 21, which regulates the state metrological control of measuring instruments. Authorized Metrological Verification Bodies are those entities, public or private, designated by a Public Administration to carry out and issue the appropriate certifications related to the metrological controls of:

•    Verification after repair or modification

•    Periodic verification.

Thanks to our qualified technical staff, we carry out the verifications according to the corresponding regulations, always using the appropriate equipment for each one of them.
